- 2 large apples, peeled and diced
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 8 small flour or corn tortillas
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup chopped nuts (optional)
- Caramel sauce (for drizzling)
Instructions
- In a skillet, combine diced apples, cinnamon, and sugar. Cook over medium heat for 5-7 minutes until apples are soft.
- In a mixing bowl, beat together softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Warm tortillas in a skillet over low heat for 20-30 seconds on each side until pliable.
- Spread a layer of the cream cheese mixture on each tortilla.
- Add a spoonful of cooked apples on top of the cream cheese.
- Roll each tortilla up seam side down and place on a serving plate.
- Drizzle with caramel sauce and sprinkle with nuts if desired. Serve warm.
