A deliciously easy recipe for Apple Pie Cinnamon Roll Bake that combines the flavors of apple pie and cinnamon rolls into a warm, creamy dessert.

- 70 grams dark brown sugar, packed
- 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
- 2 cans (8 pieces per can) refrigerated cinnamon rolls with icing
- 60 millilitres salted butter, melted
- 295 grams (half of a 595g can) apple pie filling
- 2 tablespoons caramel syrup
- Caramel syrup, for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Grease a 23 x 33 centimetre casserole pan with non-stick spray and preheat oven to 175 degrees Celsius.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine dark brown sugar and ground cinnamon with a whisk until evenly blended.
- Open refrigerated cinnamon rolls and cut each roll into four equal pieces using a sharp knife or pizza cutter.
- Add cinnamon roll quarters to the bowl with the sugar-cinnamon mixture and gently toss until all pieces are well coated.
- Evenly distribute the coated cinnamon roll pieces into the prepared casserole pan, forming a single layer.
- Pour melted salted butter evenly over the entire pan, with emphasis on the edges to prevent them from drying.
- In a medium bowl, stir together apple pie filling and caramel syrup until fully incorporated.
- Using a knife or fork, cut the apple slices from the filling into bite-sized pieces for even distribution.
- Spoon the apple mixture over the cinnamon rolls in several spots, spreading gently to distribute the apples evenly over the top.
- Bake for 35–40 minutes, or until the cinnamon rolls are set and showing golden brown edges.
- Remove from oven and let cool in the pan for 10 minutes. Drizzle evenly with the icing from the cinnamon roll cans and additional caramel syrup, if desired. Serve warm.
Notes
- For an extra touch, serve with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
