Description
Delicious cocktail smokies wrapped in crispy bacon and coated with a sweet brown sugar glaze, perfect for any gathering.
Ingredients

- 24 cocktail smokies (approximately 14 oz / 400 g)
- 12 slices of regular bacon (not thick-cut)
- 1/2 cup brown sugar (100 g, light or dark)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Line a rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper or aluminum foil.
- Cut each bacon slice in half crosswise to form 24 shorter strips.
- Wrap each cocktail smokie with a half-slice of bacon and secure using a toothpick.
- Place the bacon-wrapped smokies in a single layer on the baking sheet, seam side down.
- Sprinkle brown sugar evenly over each bacon-wrapped smokie.
- Bake for 30 to 35 minutes, until the bacon is crisp and the sugar is melted and caramelized.
- Allow to cool for five minutes before serving.
Notes
You can prepare these a day in advance and bake them just before serving. They can also be cooked in an air fryer at 375°F for about 15-20 minutes.
