Ingredients

  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted

  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 2 tsp baking powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. Toss sliced bananas with brown sugar and cinnamon in a mixing bowl.
  3. Whisk together flour, baking powder, and a pinch of salt in a separate bowl.
  4. Beat melted butter, sugar, milk, and a dash of vanilla extract in another bowl.
  5. Incorporate dry ingredients into wet ingredients and stir until just combined.
  6. Pour half of the batter into the baking dish, layer in caramelized bananas, then pour remaining batter on top.
