Description

A simple 3-ingredient bariatric gelatin recipe that’s high in protein and low in calories, perfect for weight loss and meal prep.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup hot water (not boiling)
  • 1 packet unflavored gelatin (about 1 tablespoon)
  • 1 scoop unflavored or vanilla protein powder

Instructions

  1. Pour the hot water into a heat-safe bowl.
  2. Sprinkle the unflavored gelatin evenly over the water and let it sit for 1 minute.
  3. Stir gently until the gelatin is fully dissolved.
  4. Whisk in the protein powder slowly, stirring continuously.
  5. Pour the mixture into small silicone molds or a shallow dish.
  6. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or until fully set.
  7. Once set, cut into small cubes or portions.

Notes

Store the gelatin cubes in an airtight container in the fridge for up to a week. They can also be layered with fresh fruit for added flavor.
