- 1 cup rolled oats
- 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
- 2 tablespoons chia seeds
- 1 tablespoon pure maple syrup
- 1/2 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
- 1 cup mixed fresh berries
- 2 tablespoons natural almond butter
Instructions
- In a medium bowl or large jar, combine the rolled oats, almond milk, chia seeds, maple syrup, and vanilla extract; stir thoroughly.
- Gently fold in half of the mixed berries into the oat mixture.
- Spoon the mixture evenly into two mason jars or airtight containers, leaving space at the top.
- Swirl 1 tablespoon of almond butter into each jar.
- Top with the remaining berries.
- Seal the containers and refrigerate overnight (or for at least 6 hours).
- In the morning, stir gently and enjoy. Optionally, add honey or more almond butter to taste.
Notes
Prepare multiple jars for the week; they last up to 5 days in the fridge. Can be reheated in the microwave.
