- 4 Cod Fillets
- 1/4 Cup Butter
- 1 Lemon (Juiced and Zested)
- 1 Cup Breadcrumbs
- Salt and Pepper to Taste
- Parsley for Garnish (Optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Melt the butter in a small saucepan over low heat and stir in the lemon juice and zest.
- Prepare the cod fillets in a baking dish and season with salt and pepper.
- Pour the lemon-butter sauce over the cod fillets.
- Sprinkle breadcrumbs on top of the fish.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until the fish flakes easily with a fork.
- Garnish with parsley before serving.
