Description

A delightful baked cod dish topped with a crunchy breadcrumb crust and buttery lemon flavors, perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 4 Cod Fillets
  • 1/4 Cup Butter
  • 1 Lemon (Juiced and Zested)
  • 1 Cup Breadcrumbs
  • Salt and Pepper to Taste
  • Parsley for Garnish (Optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Melt the butter in a small saucepan over low heat and stir in the lemon juice and zest.
  3. Prepare the cod fillets in a baking dish and season with salt and pepper.
  4. Pour the lemon-butter sauce over the cod fillets.
  5. Sprinkle breadcrumbs on top of the fish.
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until the fish flakes easily with a fork.
  7. Garnish with parsley before serving.

Make ahead by preparing cod and sauce a day in advance. Store in the fridge until ready to bake.
