Description

This stunning Brie Cheese and Cranberry Christmas Wreath is the ultimate holiday appetizer centerpiece. Buttery puff pastry wrapped around melty Brie, sweet-tart cranberries, crunchy nuts, and fragrant rosemary makes every bite warm, savory, and festive.


Ingredients

2 sheets puff pastry, thawed

8 oz Brie cheese, cut into small cubes

½ cup cranberry sauce (whole berry or jellied)

¼ cup chopped pecans or walnuts

2 tbsp fresh rosemary, chopped

1 egg, beaten

1 tbsp water

For Garnish

Fresh rosemary sprigs

Fresh cranberries

Powdered sugar (optional)


Instructions

1. Prep the Oven & Pan (≈ 5 minutes)

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).

  2. Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.

  3. Place a 4-inch oven-safe bowl in the center of the baking sheet to guide the wreath shape.


2. Prepare the Pastry (≈ 5 minutes)

  1. Lightly roll out the puff pastry sheets.

  2. Cut each sheet into 8 long triangles, creating 16 total.


3. Form the Wreath 🎄 (≈ 8 minutes)

  1. Arrange pastry triangles in a circle around the bowl, wide ends overlapping in the center and pointed ends facing outward, forming a sunburst.

  2. On the overlapping wide ends, add:

    • a few Brie cubes

    • a small spoonful of cranberry sauce

    • a sprinkle of chopped nuts

    • a pinch of fresh rosemary


4. Shape & Seal

  1. Fold each pointed end over the filling and tuck it underneath the center overlap.

  2. Carefully remove the bowl from the center.


5. Egg Wash & Bake (≈ 20–25 minutes)

  1. Whisk egg with 1 tbsp water.

  2. Brush generously over the entire wreath.

  3. Bake for 20–25 minutes, until golden brown and flaky.


6. Garnish & Serve ✨

  1. Let cool for 5 minutes.

  2. Transfer to a serving platter.

  3. Garnish with fresh rosemary sprigs and cranberries.

  4. Lightly dust with powdered sugar if desired.
