Ingredients

Scale
  • 9 cups rice cereal (Chex or similar)

  3. Flavor the Glaze: Stir in 1 teaspoon of lemon extract and the zest of 1 lemon (optional) into the melted mixture until fragrant.
  4. Coat the Cereal: Pour the lemony glaze over the cereal and gently fold until all pieces are coated.
  5. Add the Sugar Coating: Transfer the coated cereal to a large zip-top bag, add 1 cup of powdered sugar and 2 tablespoons of powdered lemonade mix, seal, and shake until evenly coated.
  6. Set and Cool: Spread the mix onto a parchment-lined baking sheet and let it dry at room temperature for 15–20 minutes.
  7. Serve and Enjoy: Break apart any clusters and scoop into bowls or snack bags.
