Description

Deliciously glazed pork chops infused with brown sugar, spices, and cooked to perfection for a comforting weeknight meal.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 pork chops (bone-in or boneless)
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, combine brown sugar, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne pepper, salt, and pepper to create a spice rub.
  2. Coat both sides of the pork chops with the spice mixture, massaging it into the meat.
  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering.
  4. Place the pork chops in the pan and cook undisturbed for about 4-5 minutes to form a golden crust.
  5. Flip the chops and cook for another 4-5 minutes, ensuring the internal temperature reaches 145°F.
  6. Remove from heat and let rest for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

Season the pork chops up to 24 hours in advance for enhanced flavor. Enjoy air-fried for a healthier version or roasted for a different texture.
