- 1 cup apple juice
- 1/2 cup Fireball whiskey
- 2 tablespoons unflavored gelatin
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon peppermint extract
- Red and white candy cane pieces for garnish
Instructions
- In a saucepan, combine the apple juice and Fireball whiskey. Heat over medium heat until warm, but not boiling.
- Sprinkle the gelatin over the warm liquid and stir until completely dissolved.
- Add the sugar and peppermint extract, stirring until the sugar is dissolved.
- Pour the mixture into gummy bear molds or a small square pan.
- Refrigerate for about 120-180 minutes until set.
- Once set, remove from molds and optionally roll in crushed candy cane pieces for a festive touch. Serve and enjoy your holiday treat!
