Description

A delightful fusion of classic cannoli flavors and creamy cheesecake in a crispy graham cracker crust.


Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 6 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • 16 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 325°F (163°C).
  2. Prepare the crust by mixing graham cracker crumbs, sugar, and melted butter until it resembles wet sand, then press firmly into a lined 9×13-inch pan.
  3. Make the filling by beating cream cheese and granulated sugar until smooth, then incorporating eggs one at a time, finally adding vanilla extract.
  4. Fold in ricotta and mini chocolate chips carefully.
  5. Pour the filling over the crust and spread evenly.
  6. Bake for 40-45 minutes until the edges set and the center has a gentle jiggle.
  7. Cool completely at room temperature, then chill in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours.
  8. Serve with powdered sugar dusting on top.

Notes

For a lighter version, use low-fat cream cheese. Add almond extract for extra flavor.
