Description

A perfect blend of sharp cheddar cheese, crispy bacon, and tender turkey breast layered between slices of toasty sourdough bread.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 slices sourdough bread
  • 4 ounces turkey breast
  • 2 slices cheddar cheese
  • 2 slices cooked bacon
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 tablespoon mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Spread mayonnaise on one side of each slice of sourdough bread.
  2. Layer Dijon mustard on top of the mayonnaise on one slice.
  3. Add cheddar cheese slices on the mustard side.
  4. Layer crispy bacon over the cheddar.
  5. Distribute turkey breast evenly over the bacon.
  6. Top with the other slice of sourdough with the mayo side facing in.
  7. Heat skillet over medium heat and add butter.
  8. Place sandwich in skillet and cook for 3 to 4 minutes until golden brown.
  9. Flip sandwich and repeat cooking until both sides are crispy and cheese melts.
  10. Remove from pan, let rest for a minute, then slice in half and serve.
