Description

A delightful layered dessert combining creamy cheesecake, crushed graham crackers, and sweet cherry pie filling.


Ingredients

  • 1 package (about 14 oz) graham crackers, crushed
  • 2 packages (8 oz each) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup sour cream (or Greek yogurt)
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups whipped cream (homemade or store-bought)
  • 1 can (21 oz) cherry pie filling (or homemade)

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth and fluffy.
  2. Add the sour cream, sugar, and vanilla extract to the cream cheese, and mix until everything is well-combined and creamy.
  3. Gently fold in the whipped cream until no white streaks remain.
  4. Layer with crushed graham crackers at the bottom of a trifle dish or glass bowl.
  5. Add a layer of the cheesecake mixture, followed by a layer of cherry pie filling. Repeat these layers until all ingredients are used.
  6. Finish with whipped cream and a few cherries on top for garnishing.
  7. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours or overnight.
