Delicious homemade chicken potstickers with a crispy bottom and flavorful filling, perfect for snacks or appetizers.

- 1 lb ground chicken
- 1 cup finely chopped cabbage
- 1/2 cup chopped green onions
- 1 tablespoon minced garlic
- 1 tablespoon minced ginger
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1 package potsticker wrappers
- Oil for frying
- Dipping sauce (soy sauce, vinegar, and chili oil)
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix the ground chicken, finely chopped cabbage, chopped green onions, minced garlic, minced ginger, soy sauce, and sesame oil until well combined.
- Place a small spoonful of the mixture in the center of a potsticker wrapper.
- Moisten the edges of the wrapper with a little water and fold over the filling, pinching to seal.
- Heat oil in a pan over medium heat to coat the bottom.
- Arrange filled potstickers in the pan and pan-fry until the bottoms are golden brown, about 3 to 5 minutes.
- Add about 1/4 cup of water and cover the pan to steam for 5 to 7 minutes.
- Remove the lid and cook until remaining water evaporates, making the bottoms crispy.
- Serve hot with a side of dipping sauce.
Notes
For a varied filling, you can add mushrooms, carrots, or bell peppers. Adjust seasoning to taste, and if baking, brush with oil and bake at 400°F for 20 minutes.
