Description

A festive and delightful trifle layered with cookie crumbles, creamy filling, and berry goodness, perfect for Christmas celebrations.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 cups crushed graham crackers or Golden Oreos
  • ½ cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, melted
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • ½ cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tub (8 oz) Cool Whip, thawed
  • 1 can (21 oz) cherry pie filling or raspberry pie filling or whole-berry cranberry sauce
  • Extra Cool Whip or canned whipped cream
  • Extra cookie crumbs
  • Red & green M&Ms
  • Optional: crushed candy canes or Christmas sprinkles

Instructions

  1. Mix the crushed graham crackers (or Oreos) with melted butter until sandy. Set aside.
  2. Beat cream cheese until smooth. Add powdered sugar and vanilla; mix again. Fold in Cool Whip gently.
  3. In a large glass trifle dish:
  4. Spread half of the cherry pie filling at the bottom.
  5. Add half the cream layer.
  6. Sprinkle half the cookie crumble.
  7. Spoon the remaining cherry filling, especially around edges.
  8. Add the rest of the cream mixture.
  9. Top with remaining cookie crumble.
  10. Swirl whipped cream or Cool Whip on top.
  11. Garnish with red & green M&Ms, cookie crumbs, and optional candy canes or sprinkles.

Notes

  • For best flavor, refrigerate the trifle for 3–4 hours or overnight before serving.
  • Feel free to mix different types of berries in the berry layer for a unique twist.
