- 1 sleeve saltine crackers
- 2 cups chocolate chips

Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Line a baking sheet with foil or parchment paper.
- Lay the saltine crackers in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.
- In a medium saucepan, melt the unsalted butter and brown sugar over medium heat, stirring continuously until smooth and bubbly.
- Pour the toffee mixture evenly over the saltine crackers.
- Bake for about 5 minutes until golden, keeping an eye to prevent burning.
- Remove from oven and sprinkle chocolate chips over the hot toffee; let sit for a few minutes to melt.
- Use a spatula to spread melted chocolate evenly over the toffee.
- Sprinkle chopped nuts and sea salt on top if desired.
- Let cool completely, then break into pieces for serving.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container.
