- 1 package of cinnamon roll dough
- 1/2 cup of brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon of cinnamon
- 1/4 cup of melted butter
- 1/2 cup of powdered sugar
- 2 tablespoons of milk
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Grease a 9×13 inch baking pan with flour or parchment paper.
- Roll out the cinnamon roll dough on a floured surface to about ¼ inch thick.
- Mix the brown sugar and cinnamon in a small bowl.
- Spread the cinnamon-sugar mixture over the rolled dough.
- Drizzle the melted butter over the sugar mixture.
- Roll the dough tightly into a log.
- Cut the log into 1-2 inch thick bars and place in the baking pan.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
- Prepare the glaze by mixing powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla until smooth.
- Drizzle the glaze over the cooled bars.
Notes
For added flavor, consider using nuts or chocolate chips in the filling. These bars can also be made ahead and frozen.
