Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
- In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth.
- Add eggs, sour cream, and vanilla extract. Mix well until combined.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, ground cinnamon, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring gently until just combined.
- Transfer the batter into the prepared baking pan, spreading it evenly.
- Mix the remaining cinnamon and sugar in a small bowl and sprinkle over the batter.
- Bake for 25 to 30 minutes, until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Let the bars cool completely before frosting.
- Prepare the frosting by whisking together powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla until smooth.
- Spread the frosting over the cooled bars and allow to set before cutting into squares.
