Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and ground cinnamon.
- In another bowl, mix the melted butter, buttermilk, eggs, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix gently until just combined.
- Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
- In a separate bowl, combine the 1/2 cup sugar and 2 teaspoons of cinnamon for the coating.
- Bake for about 50-60 minutes, checking for doneness with a toothpick.
- Allow the bread to cool slightly, then coat in the cinnamon sugar mixture.
