Instructions
- Set the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 12-cup muffin tin with butter or nonstick spray.
- Whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and sugar in a medium bowl.
- In a separate bowl, whisk melted butter, eggs, milk, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Gradually fold wet ingredients into dry ingredients, stirring just until incorporated to avoid overmixing.
- Spoon batter evenly into prepared muffin tin, filling each cup about two-thirds full.
- Bake for 18-20 minutes until tops are golden and a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
- Combine granulated sugar and cinnamon in a small bowl. Allow muffins to cool for 5 minutes after baking.
- Brush muffin tops with melted butter, then dip into cinnamon-sugar mixture to coat evenly.
