Description

Delicious and festive Cool Whip Christmas Crinkle Cookies that are easy to make and perfect for holiday celebrations.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 box cake mix (vanilla, chocolate, or red velvet)
  • 1 tub (8 oz) Cool Whip, thawed
  • 1 large egg
  • ½ cup powdered sugar (for rolling)
  • Optional: holiday sprinkles or food coloring

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 175°C (350°F) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, mix cake mix, Cool Whip, and egg until fully combined. Dough will be sticky—this is normal.
  3. Refrigerate dough for 30 minutes to make it easier to handle.
  4. Scoop dough and roll into small balls, then roll each ball generously in powdered sugar.
  5. Place cookies on baking sheet, spacing them apart, and bake for 10–12 minutes until crinkled and set.
  6. Let cookies cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.

Notes

  • Chill dough longer if it’s too sticky.
  • Use different cake mix flavors for colorful holiday cookies.
  • Roll cookies twice in powdered sugar for extra crinkle effect.
