- 1 box cake mix (vanilla, chocolate, or red velvet)
- 1 tub (8 oz) Cool Whip, thawed
- 1 large egg
- ½ cup powdered sugar (for rolling)
- Optional: holiday sprinkles or food coloring
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 175°C (350°F) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, mix cake mix, Cool Whip, and egg until fully combined. Dough will be sticky—this is normal.
- Refrigerate dough for 30 minutes to make it easier to handle.
- Scoop dough and roll into small balls, then roll each ball generously in powdered sugar.
- Place cookies on baking sheet, spacing them apart, and bake for 10–12 minutes until crinkled and set.
- Let cookies cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
Notes
- Chill dough longer if it’s too sticky.
- Use different cake mix flavors for colorful holiday cookies.
- Roll cookies twice in powdered sugar for extra crinkle effect.
