- 1 cup cottage cheese (full-fat or low-fat)
- 1 cup fresh strawberries (hulled and sliced)
- 1 small banana (sliced)
- ½ cup blueberries (optional)
- ½ cup pineapple chunks (optional)
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 2 tablespoons chopped walnuts or almonds (optional)
- 1 tablespoon chia seeds or flaxseeds (optional)
- Fresh mint leaves for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Prepare the fruit: Wash all the fruits thoroughly. Hull the strawberries and slice them, along with the banana. If desired, cut and prepare the pineapple.
- Divvy the cottage cheese: Use a spoon to divide the cottage cheese evenly between two serving bowls.
- Arrange the fruits: Artistically arrange the sliced strawberries, bananas, and any additional fruit on top of the cottage cheese.
- Drizzle with honey: Swirl a tablespoon of honey over each bowl.
- Sprinkle nuts and seeds: Sprinkle your choice of walnuts or almonds, and chia or flaxseeds, over the top.
- Garnish: Finish with a few fresh mint leaves.
- Serve immediately: Enjoy your cottage cheese fruit bowl right away!
Notes
Best enjoyed fresh, but you can pre-slice your fruit the night before for quick assembly. Avoid using overripe fruit for the best texture.
