Description

A warm, cheesy dip with creamy layers of flavor combining ground beef, black beans, and cheddar cheese, perfect for gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 can (15 oz) black beans
  • 1 can (10 oz) diced tomatoes with green chilies
  • 1 can (15 oz) corn
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup cream cheese
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Tortilla chips for serving

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until it turns a delightful brown. Drain excess fat.
  2. Add black beans, diced tomatoes, corn, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper to the skillet. Stir well until combined and warmed through.
  3. Lower the heat, then add cream cheese and shredded cheddar cheese. Stir gently until melted and creamy.
  4. Spoon Cowboy Cheese into a serving dish and serve with tortilla chips.

Notes

For a make-ahead option, brown the meat and prepare other ingredients a day ahead; store in the fridge and cook before serving.
