- 1 cup cooked crab meat, shredded
- 2 green onions, finely chopped
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 package wonton wrappers
- Oil for frying
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Combine the softened cream cheese, shredded crab meat, finely chopped green onions, garlic powder, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper in a large mixing bowl.
- Lay out the wonton wrappers on a clean surface.
- Place a small spoonful of your crab mixture in the center of each wrapper.
- Moisten the edges of the wrapper with water.
- Fold the wrapper over the filling and seal firmly.
- Heat oil in a deep pan or fryer over medium heat.
- Fry the wontons in batches until golden brown and crispy.
- Remove with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels.
- Serve hot with your choice of dipping sauce.
Notes
For a healthier alternative, consider baking them at 375°F for 15-20 minutes. Be sure not to overfill to avoid leakage during frying.
