Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup cooked crab meat, shredded
  • 2 green onions, finely chopped

  2. Lay out the wonton wrappers on a clean surface.
  3. Place a small spoonful of your crab mixture in the center of each wrapper.
  4. Moisten the edges of the wrapper with water.
  5. Fold the wrapper over the filling and seal firmly.
  6. Heat oil in a deep pan or fryer over medium heat.
  7. Fry the wontons in batches until golden brown and crispy.
  8. Remove with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels.

Notes

For a healthier alternative, consider baking them at 375°F for 15-20 minutes. Be sure not to overfill to avoid leakage during frying.
