A delicious and creamy grilled steak bowl featuring tender zucchini and a rich garlic herb sauce.

- 1 lb ribeye or sirloin steak
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp salt
- 0.5 tsp black pepper
- 0.5 tsp garlic powder
- 0.5 tsp smoked paprika
- 1 tbsp butter
- 3 garlic cloves minced
- 0.5 cup heavy cream
- 0.25 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp Dijon mustard
- 0.5 tsp onion powder
- 1 tbsp fresh parsley finely chopped
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- 1 medium zucchini sliced into thin rounds
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- Pinch of salt
- Pinch of black pepper
- 2 cups cooked rice
- 1 tsp soy sauce (optional)
- 0.5 tsp sesame oil (optional)
Instructions
- Bring the steak to room temperature for 30 minutes before cooking.
- Pat the steak dry and rub it with olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and smoked paprika.
- Preheat your grill or grill pan over medium-high heat.
- Grill the steak for 3–4 minutes per side or until desired doneness. Use a meat thermometer to check internal temperature.
- Let the steak rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
- In a skillet, heat 1 tbsp olive oil and cook zucchini slices for 2–3 minutes per side until golden and tender. Season lightly.
- In a small saucepan, melt butter and sauté garlic for 1 minute.
- Add heavy cream, parmesan, Dijon, and onion powder. Simmer and stir until slightly thickened.
- Stir in fresh parsley and season the sauce with salt and pepper. Keep warm on low heat.
- Warm the rice and mix with soy sauce and sesame oil if using.
- Portion rice into bowls. Slice the steak and place it on top with zucchini.
- Spoon the creamy garlic herb sauce generously over the steak. Garnish if desired and serve hot.
