- 4 salmon fillets (each approximately 6 oz)
- 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
- Sea salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 tablespoons fresh dill, finely chopped (or 1 tablespoon dried dill)
- Zest of 1 large lemon
- 2 tablespoons freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 2 cloves garlic, finely minced
- ½ teaspoon onion powder
- ½ teaspoon smoked paprika
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Pat the salmon fillets dry and drizzle olive oil over both sides, seasoning with salt and pepper.
- Arrange the salmon fillets skin-side down on the prepared baking sheet.
- In a saucepan, combine heavy cream, minced garlic, lemon zest, lemon juice, dill, onion powder, and smoked paprika. Heat until it simmers for 5-7 minutes.
- Pour the sauce evenly over the salmon fillets.
- Bake the salmon for 12-15 minutes or until fully cooked and flakes easily with a fork.
- Let the salmon rest for a few minutes before serving.
- Transfer the salmon to a platter and drizzle remaining sauce over the top, garnishing with additional dill if desired.

- For a vibrant presentation, serve with steamed asparagus and fluffy rice or quinoa.
- Fresh lemon slices can be added around the platter for a visual and aromatic touch.
