These Crispy Brie and Cranberry Egg Rolls are the ultimate sweet-and-savory holiday appetizer. Crunchy on the outside, melty and creamy on the inside, and finished with a warm honey-cinnamon drizzle—every bite tastes like Christmas magic.


Ingredients

For the Egg Rolls

10 egg roll wrappers

200 g Brie cheese, sliced

150 g cranberry sauce or jam

1 egg, beaten (for sealing)

500 ml neutral oil (canola or vegetable, for frying)

For the Honey Drizzle

3 tbsp honey

1/4 tsp ground cinnamon

1 tsp lemon juice

Optional Garnish

Powdered sugar

Fresh rosemary

Lemon or orange zest

Fresh cranberries


Instructions

1. Assemble the Egg Rolls (≈ 10 minutes)

  1. Lay one egg roll wrapper in a diamond shape.

  2. Place a slice of Brie cheese in the center.

  3. Add 1 spoonful of cranberry sauce on top.

  4. Fold the bottom corner over the filling.

  5. Fold in both side corners.

  6. Brush the top corner with beaten egg and roll tightly to seal.

  7. Repeat with remaining wrappers.


2. Fry Until Golden (≈ 5–6 minutes)

  1. Heat oil to 350°F (175°C) in a deep pan.

  2. Fry egg rolls 2–3 minutes per side, until golden brown and crispy.

  3. Transfer to paper towels to drain excess oil.


3. Make the Honey Cinnamon Drizzle (≈ 1 minute)

  • In a small bowl, mix together:

    • honey

    • cinnamon

    • lemon juice

  • Stir until smooth.


4. Serve & Garnish ✨

  • Serve egg rolls hot and crispy.

  • Drizzle with honey sauce or serve it on the side for dipping.

  • Optional: dust lightly with powdered sugar and garnish with rosemary, zest, or cranberries.
