Description

Ingredients

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 6 strips of thick-cut bacon
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • Vegetable oil, for frying
  • 4 large flour tortillas
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • ¼ cup ranch dressing

Instructions

  1. Slice the chicken breasts into thin strips and season with garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
  2. Set up three shallow dishes with flour, buttermilk, and panko breadcrumbs.
  3. Coat each chicken strip in flour, then dip in buttermilk, and finally roll in panko breadcrumbs.
  4. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium heat and fry chicken strips until golden brown, about 5-7 minutes per side.
  5. Cook bacon strips in a separate pan until crispy, then crumble them.
  6. Lay flour tortillas flat, spread ranch dressing, and layer with lettuce, tomatoes, cheese, chicken, and bacon.
  7. Fold the sides of the tortilla and roll it tightly. Cut in half and serve immediately.
