- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/3 cup hot sauce
- 4 tablespoons butter (melted)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 425°F (218°C) and position the rack in the center.
- Line a baking sheet with foil and set a wire rack on top.
- Pat the chicken wings thoroughly with paper towels until dry.
- Combine the flour, baking powder, salt, black pepper, paprika, and garlic powder in a large bowl.
- Add the wings to the bowl and toss until coated, shaking off excess flour.
- Arrange the wings in a single layer on the wire rack.
- Roast the wings for 40 to 45 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and crisp.
- Melt the butter in a small saucepan and whisk in the hot sauce.
- Transfer the cooked wings to a bowl and toss with the warm sauce.
- Serve immediately and enjoy!
Notes
For customizable heat, serve hot sauce on the side. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3–4 days.
