Instructions

  1. Prepare the Potatoes: Begin by peeling and dicing the potatoes into even-sized pieces.
  2. Layer the Ingredients: In your crock pot, layer the diced potatoes at the bottom, sprinkle the ranch seasoning, half of the cheese, and half of the bacon on top.
  3. Add the Broth: Pour the broth over the layered ingredients, ensuring it covers all the potatoes.
  4. Slow Cook: Set your crock pot to cook on low for 7-8 hours or on high for 4 hours, until the potatoes are tender.
  5. Finish with Cream: Stir in the heavy cream and season with salt and pepper. Use an immersion blender to purée half for a smoother consistency, if desired.
