Ingredients

  • 1 cup strawberries, chopped
  • ½ cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 package wonton wrappers
  • 3 cups vegetable oil, for frying
  • extra powdered sugar, for dusting

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, chopped strawberries, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  2. Place a small spoonful of the mixture onto the center of each wonton wrapper.
  3. Fold the wonton wrappers over the filling to form triangles and seal the edges.
  4. Heat the vegetable oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 350°F (175°C).
  5. Fry the stuffed wontons in batches until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes.
  6. Remove them and drain on paper towels.
  7. Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
