Description

A creamy and indulgent chicken dish featuring sautéed mushrooms, fragrant thyme, and a luscious white grape sauce, perfect for family dinners or elegant gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1 tablespoon unsalted butter (for sautéing mushrooms)
  • 8 ounces fresh sliced mushrooms
  • 1 cup non-alcoholic white grape juice
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon fresh thyme
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • Salt & Pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
  2. Melt 2 tablespoons of unsalted butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Brown the chicken breasts for 4 to 5 minutes per side until golden brown. Remove from skillet.
  4. Sauté sliced mushrooms in the same skillet with another tablespoon of butter for about 5 minutes.
  5. Add minced garlic and thyme, cooking for another minute.
  6. Pour in the non-alcoholic grape juice and deglaze the skillet.
  7. Simmer with heavy cream, stirring until the sauce thickens.
  8. Return the chicken to the pan and let it simmer for about 10 minutes.
  9. Add chopped parsley before serving.

Notes

This dish is great paired with rice or pasta and can be made ahead for convenience. Customize with vegetables or cheese as desired.
