- 8 oz cream cheese (softened)
- ½ cup sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 8 oz whipped topping
- 1 cup pretzels (chopped)
- ½ cup pecans (chopped)
- ¾ cup brown sugar
- ¾ cup melted butter
- 2–3 cups strawberries (diced)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Wash, dry, and dice the strawberries, setting aside.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine chopped pretzels, pecans, melted butter, and brown sugar. Toss until fully coated.
- Spread the mixture evenly on a parchment-lined baking sheet and bake for 7–9 minutes until golden brown. Let cool completely.
- In another bowl, beat the softened cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla until fluffy.
- Gently fold in the whipped topping, then add diced strawberries and the cooled pretzel mixture, being careful not to crush the fruit.
- Serve immediately or chill for an hour before serving.
Notes
Make the crunch mixture a day in advance for best results. Avoid overbaking the pretzel mix to prevent bitterness.
