Description
Create a stylish and charming DIY Beaded Plant Hanger to add a bohemian touch to your home décor, perfect for plant lovers.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 wooden ring (4–6 inches)
- Strong fishing line or nylon cord (4-6 yards, depending on length)
- Assorted transparent beads (5mm–15mm, mix of sizes & colors)
- Scissors
- Painter’s tape (for stability)
- Ruler or measuring tape
Instructions
- Cut & Secure – Measure and cut 4–6 equal lengths of fishing line (each ~3–4 ft long). Tie each securely to the wooden ring, spacing them evenly.
- Bead Your Design – Thread beads onto each strand, mixing sizes and colors for a playful, eclectic look. Leave about 6–8 inches unbeaded at the bottom for tying.
- Tape for Ease – Use painter’s tape to anchor strands to your table while working—no tangles!
- Tie It Off – Gather all strands below the beads and tie them together in a secure knot, leaving a loop for hanging.
- Adjust & Style – Trim excess cord, then gently adjust bead spacing for balance. Hang and place your favorite small potted plant inside!
Notes
- Use UV-resistant beads if hanging near sunlight to prevent fading.
- For extra sparkle, mix in metallic or iridescent beads.
- Want a fuller look? Double the strands for more bead coverage!
