Description
A fun and easy recipe to create your own DIY Jelly Snow Slime.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 cup clear glue
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 2 tbsp water
- A few drops of food coloring
- 1 tbsp instant snow
- 1 tbsp contact lens solution
Instructions
- Begin by pouring 1 cup of clear glue into a large mixing bowl.
- Add a few drops of food coloring to the glue, then stir well to combine until you achieve the desired color.
- Sprinkle in 1/2 tsp of baking soda and mix thoroughly to ensure it is evenly distributed throughout the mixture.
- In a separate cup, mix 2 tbsp of water with 1 tbsp of instant snow. Allow the instant snow to puff up for a few minutes.
- Once the instant snow has expanded, gently fold it into the glue mixture using a spatula or your hands until well incorporated.
- Gradually add 1 tbsp of contact lens solution to the bowl, stirring continuously. Keep adding the solution little by little until the slime starts to form and pulls away from the sides of the bowl.
- Once the slime has reached the desired consistency, knead it with your hands for a few minutes. This will help improve its texture and make it more fun to play with.
Notes
- For a glittery effect, consider adding a tablespoon of glitter to your glue mixture along with the food coloring.
- If you want to make your slime stretchier, try increasing the amount of contact lens solution slightly until you achieve your preferred consistency.
