Description

Create your very own DIY Moon Rocks using baking soda and glitter for a fun and sparkly craft activity!


Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 cups baking soda
  • 1/4 cup water
  • Gold glitter
  • Silver glitter
  • Black food coloring

Instructions

  1. Grab a large plastic bin and mix the baking soda with water. This will be the base of your moon rocks!
  2. Sprinkle in a generous amount of gold and silver glitter, then stir until it’s beautifully blended.
  3. Add a few drops of black food coloring, adjusting the amount based on the type of coloring used.
  4. Mix thoroughly to ensure every bit of food coloring is incorporated.
  5. Mold the mixture with your hands into rock shapes, pressing fingers in to create craters.
  6. Let your creations dry overnight.
