Description

Create your own DIY worry stones with this easy recipe, perfect for stress relief and relaxation.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 parts flour
  • 2 parts salt
  • 1 part warm water
  • Gel food coloring
  • Sparkly glitter

Instructions

  1. In a medium-sized mixing bowl, combine 2 parts flour and 2 parts salt. Stir until evenly blended.
  2. Slowly pour in 1 part warm water while stirring continuously. If the dough is too dry or crumbly, add more warm water a little at a time.
  3. Add a few drops of gel food coloring to the mixture and knead the dough until the color is fully mixed in. Sprinkle in glitter and knead the dough again to distribute the glitter evenly.
  4. Take small portions of the dough and roll them into cubes or oval shapes. Press shallow indents into the center of each piece to create the worry stone effect.
  5. Place the finished stones on a tray and let them dry overnight or until completely hardened.

Notes

  • You can experiment with different colors and combinations of gel food coloring to create unique designs for your worry stones.
  • To add a personal touch, consider writing affirmations or positive words on each stone once they’re dry using a permanent marker.
