- 2 lbs chicken breasts
- 1 cup teriyaki sauce
- 1 cup pineapple chunks (optional)
- 1 bell pepper, sliced (optional)
- Cooked rice or noodles for serving
Instructions
- Place chicken breasts in the crockpot.
- Pour teriyaki sauce over the chicken.
- Add pineapple chunks and sliced bell pepper if using.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
- Shred chicken with two forks and mix with sauce before serving.
- Serve over cooked rice or noodles.
Notes
Use boneless, skinless chicken breasts for easy shredding. Do not lift the lid while cooking. If sauce is thin after cooking, remove chicken and simmer sauce on the stove to thicken.
