- 1 package (14 oz) Oreo cookies, crushed
- 1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
- ¼ cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 package (3.4 oz) instant vanilla pudding mix
- 2 cups cold milk
- 1 container (8 oz) whipped topping (Cool Whip), thawed
- 1 cup pastel-colored candy-coated chocolates (such as M&M’s)
- ½ cup mini Oreo cookies
Instructions
- Crush the cookies in a food processor or with a rolling pin until fine crumbs form.
- Make the cream cheese mixture by beating softened cream cheese and butter together until smooth; then add powdered sugar.
- Prepare the pudding by whisking instant vanilla pudding mix with cold milk for 2 minutes until thickened.
- Combine the pudding with the cream cheese mixture and fold in the whipped topping until smooth.
- Assemble the dish by spreading half of the crushed Oreos in a 9×13-inch casserole dish, then layer with the creamy filling.
- Add the remaining crushed Oreos on top of the pudding layer, then decorate with candy-coated chocolates and mini Oreos.
- Chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before serving.
Notes
This casserole can be prepared a day ahead for better flavor melding. For a frozen version, use an ice cream maker.
