Instructions
- Prepare the Cake: Preheat your oven as directed on the cake mix box. Mix the cake batter, divide it into portions, and tint each with different pastel food coloring. Bake according to package instructions until a toothpick comes out clean. Allow to cool completely.
- Cut the Cake: Turn the cooled cakes out of the pans and cut them into bite-sized cubes.
- Make the Pudding: In a mixing bowl, whisk together the instant pudding mix with milk until completely smooth and thick. Chill for about 15 minutes.
- Layer the Trifle: In a large clear trifle bowl, start layering with cake cubes, pudding, and whipped topping. Repeat until the bowl is full, ending with whipped cream.
- Decorate: Top with mini chocolate eggs, bright sprinkles, and add edible flowers if desired.
- Refrigerate: Chill for at least 1 hour before serving to allow flavors to meld.
