Description

Fruit Roll-Up Candy Apples are colorful, sweet treats made by wrapping fresh apples with fruity roll-up candy for a fun and chewy snack.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 Fresh apples (Honeycrisp, Gala, or Granny Smith)
  • 812 Fruit Roll-Ups (23 per apple depending on size)
  • Wooden or bamboo sticks
  • Optional: freeze spray OR place apples in fridge 15 min (helps coating set)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Apples: Wash apples and dry completely — moisture prevents the coating from sticking. Remove stems and insert a stick firmly into each apple.
  2. Wrap with Fruit Roll-Ups: Unwrap 2–3 Fruit Roll-Ups at a time. Stretch them slightly with your fingers (they warm easily). Wrap each apple tightly, pressing and smoothing with your hands. Overlap layers so no apple skin is visible. Use different colors for a rainbow fading effect 🌈.
  3. Set the Coating: Press and smooth the roll-ups until they stick and become glossy. If the coating feels soft → place apples in the fridge for 10 minutes to help it firm slightly.
  4. Serve: Enjoy immediately for the best chewy, stretchy texture.

Notes

  • For a more vibrant look, use a variety of Fruit Roll-Ups.
  • Apples can be refrigerated for a short time to help the candy set, but it’s best to serve them fresh.
