Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 clear plastic bottle with cap (1620 oz size)
  • ½ cup water
  • ½ cup vegetable oil
  • 1 tablespoon baking soda
  • 12 tablespoons glitter (choose bold colors for extra sparkle)
  • a few drops food coloring (electric hues recommended)
  • 1 Alka-Seltzer tablet (break into quarters)
  • 1 spoon or craft stick for stirring
  • 1 tray to catch glitter spills

Instructions

  1. Add water and baking soda to the plastic bottle. Stir until fully dissolved.
  2. Add food coloring and glitter. Swirl gently for a marbled effect.
  3. Slowly pour in the vegetable oil. Let it settle on top.
  4. Break the Alka-Seltzer tablet into quarters. Drop one piece into the bottle.
  5. Watch the glitter rise and fall as bubbles fizz—enjoy your magical glitter storm!
