- 1 clear plastic or glass jar with lid (≈ 500–750 mL)
- Water
- Glow-in-the-dark paint or glow stick liquid
- Small plastic sea animals or beads
- Blue or teal food coloring
- Glitter (eco-friendly optional)
- Clear hair gel or baby oil (optional for slow-floating effect)
- Plastic aquarium plants or seaweed confetti
- Small LED tea light (optional)
- Glow-in-the-dark stars, pebbles, or aquarium gems (optional)
- Fishing line to dangle sea creatures inside the lid (optional)
Instructions
- Prep Your Jar: Clean and dry your clear jar thoroughly. Ensure the lid screws on tightly.
- Create Your Glow Base: Choose your glow method by diluting glow paint in warm water or using glow stick liquid.
- Add Water & Tint: Fill the jar about ¾ full with warm water and add food coloring. Mix well.
- Add Sea Life & Decor: Drop in plastic sea animals, glitter, and plants, layering for a realistic effect.
- Top It Off: Fill the rest of the jar with water or baby oil, leaving a 1 cm gap.
