- 4 chicken breasts
- ¼ cup olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 2 teaspoons oregano
- Salt, to taste
- Black pepper, to taste
- 1 cucumber, chopped
- 2 tomatoes, chopped
- 1 red onion, chopped
- Feta cheese, crumbled
- Tzatziki sauce
- Pita bread
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together olive oil, minced garlic, lemon juice, oregano, salt, and black pepper. Add chicken breasts and marinate for at least 30 minutes.
- Preheat grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the marinated chicken for 6-7 minutes on each side until cooked through. Let it rest before slicing.
- Chop the cucumber, tomato, and red onion into bite-sized pieces.
- In serving bowls, layer sliced chicken and chopped veggies. Crumble feta cheese over the top.
- Drizzle with tzatziki sauce and serve warm with pita bread on the side.
Notes
For best flavor, marinate chicken overnight. Feel free to customize toppings with olives or peppers.
