Description

A flavorful Greek Chicken Gyro Bowl featuring marinated chicken, fresh vegetables, creamy tzatziki, and warm pita bread.


Ingredients

  • 4 chicken breasts
  • ¼ cup olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 2 teaspoons oregano
  • Salt, to taste
  • Black pepper, to taste
  • 1 cucumber, chopped
  • 2 tomatoes, chopped
  • 1 red onion, chopped
  • Feta cheese, crumbled
  • Tzatziki sauce
  • Pita bread

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, whisk together olive oil, minced garlic, lemon juice, oregano, salt, and black pepper. Add chicken breasts and marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  2. Preheat grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the marinated chicken for 6-7 minutes on each side until cooked through. Let it rest before slicing.
  3. Chop the cucumber, tomato, and red onion into bite-sized pieces.
  4. In serving bowls, layer sliced chicken and chopped veggies. Crumble feta cheese over the top.
  5. Drizzle with tzatziki sauce and serve warm with pita bread on the side.

Notes

For best flavor, marinate chicken overnight. Feel free to customize toppings with olives or peppers.
