Description

Delightful and festive Oreo truffles coated in white almond bark and topped with holiday M&Ms.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 ounces golden Oreos (30 cookies)
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • Green gel food coloring
  • Red gel food coloring
  • 24 ounces white almond bark
  • ¼ cup mini holiday M&Ms

Instructions

  1. Place the Oreos in a food processor and process until crumbs are formed.
  2. Add the cream cheese and process until fully combined.
  3. Separate the mixture into three separate bowls. Color one bowl with green food coloring. Color another bowl with red food coloring. Leave the last bowl as is.
  4. Line a sheet tray with parchment paper.
  5. Using a 1 tablespoon cookie scoop, go from color to color, adding a little bit of the filling mixture until the cookie scoop is filled.
  6. Roll into a ball and place on the parchment paper; repeat with the remaining filling.
  7. Place the sheet tray in the freezer for 3 hours or up to overnight so the balls freeze completely.
  8. Melt the almond bark per the directions on the package. For best results, do this step in batches. Pull out 4 of the frozen cookie balls and dip them one by one into the melted almond bark until fully coated.
  9. Let any excess coating drip off and place it on another parchment-lined cookie sheet. Immediately top with M&Ms and repeat until all are done.
  10. Serve immediately!

Notes

  • For best rolling, ensure the mixture is chilled enough to form balls.
  • Make sure to coat the truffles fully with the almond bark for a nice finish.
