Description

This creamy, no-bake tiramisu features layers of coffee-soaked ladyfingers and rich mascarpone cream, perfect for gatherings or family treats.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 6 egg yolks
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 2/3 cup milk
  • 1 1/4 cups mascarpone cheese
  • 1 3/4 cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup strong brewed coffee, cooled
  • 3036 ladyfingers
  • Cocoa powder for dusting

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, whisk together egg yolks and sugar until smooth. Add milk and cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until thickened. Remove from heat and let cool.
  2. Once cool, fold in mascarpone cheese until blended.
  3. In another bowl, whip heavy cream until stiff peaks form, then fold into the mascarpone mixture.
  4. Dip ladyfingers briefly in the brewed coffee, then layer them in a dish.
  5. Spread half of the mascarpone mixture over the ladyfingers.
  6. Repeat with another layer of dipped ladyfingers and the remaining mascarpone mixture.
  7. Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
  8. Before serving, dust the top with cocoa powder.

Notes

For a boozy version, add Marsala wine, rum, or coffee liqueur to the coffee. Use chilled heavy cream for easier whipping.
