  • 3 large eggs (room temperature)
  • 1/2 cup sour cream (room temperature)
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • 8 oz semi-sweet chocolate (melted and cooled)
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 tbsp light corn syrup
  • Whipped cream, chopped nuts, and maraschino cherries for topping

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Combine melted butter and granulated sugar in a bowl; mix until fully integrated.
  3. Beat in the eggs, one at a time, ensuring a smooth consistency.
  4. Fold in flour, cocoa powder, and salt until just combined.
  5. Pour the batter into a greased springform pan and smooth the top.
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes; let cool.
  7. Beat cream cheese until creamy in a large mixing bowl.
  8. Gradually add granulated sugar and mix until fluffy.
  9. Add eggs one by one, mixing well after each.
  10. Incorporate sour cream and heavy cream, mixing until smooth.
  11. Stir in melted chocolate until fully blended.
  12. Pour cheesecake mixture over cooled brownie layer.
  13. Bake for 50-60 minutes; edges should be set, center slightly jiggly.
  14. Turn off the oven and leave cheesecake inside to cool slowly.
  15. Combine chocolate chips, heavy cream, and corn syrup over low heat in a saucepan; stir until melted for hot fudge.
  16. Drizzle hot fudge on cheesecake slices and garnish with whipped cream, nuts, and maraschino cherries before serving.
