Description
A simple guide to making super bouncy balls at home using just a few ingredients.
Ingredients
Scale
- ½ cup warm water
- 1 tablespoon borax powder
- 1 to 2 tablespoons clear Elmer’s glue (or glitter glue)
- Optional: food coloring, glow-in-the-dark paint, or glitter
Instructions
- Pour ½ cup of warm water into a bowl.
- Stir in 1 tablespoon of borax powder until fully dissolved.
- Let the solution cool slightly.
- Slowly pour 1 to 2 tablespoons of glue into the borax solution.
- If using glitter or colored glue, now is the time to get creative!
- Use your hands to squeeze and shape the mixture into a ball.
- If the ball is too sticky, dip it back into the borax solution for a few seconds, then continue shaping.
- Set the ball aside for a few hours to dry. The longer it dries, the bouncier it will become!
Notes
- Customize your bouncy ball with different colors and glitters.
- The type of glue can affect the final texture and bounce of the ball.
- Ensure to supervise younger children during the process due to borax.
