- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon soy sauce
- 4 hamburger buns
- 1 cup shredded Swiss cheese
- Fresh parsley (optional for garnish)
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat until shimmering.
- Add sliced onions and cook for 10-12 minutes, stirring occasionally, until golden brown and caramelized.
- Stir in minced garlic and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- Crumble in the ground beef and cook until browned and fully cooked.
- Drain any excess fat and stir in Worcestershire sauce, soy sauce, thyme, salt, and pepper. Let it simmer for 5 minutes.
- Toast your hamburger buns lightly until golden brown.
- Scoop the beef mixture onto the bottom halves of the buns, sprinkle with Swiss cheese, and cover with the top bun.
- If desired, garnish with freshly chopped parsley.
